Episode 11

Lady Bee went out the next morning to found an escape route for the children with her. She walked through the path in the forest. She got to a place and notice a tree with fruits on it. She went closer and looked at the fruits oh! My goodness! A mango tree. I better pluck some for the children with me. She hurriedly pluck some into the sack she was holding. Let me go home before my husband comes back. I need to prepare him some food and am sure he will be surprise to see these fruits. She picked up her sack and walked away from the tree not noticing Fear sitting on one of the branches of the tree.

Rose left the room where they have been hiding to the other room. She thought about home,her mother and how sick and worried she will be right now. She wish to go home again. She didn’t notice Jeff watching her closely. Jeff thought to himself I wonder what she is thinking. She look really worried. Rose went on her knees and began to cry. She sob quietly not wanting the other students to know and not alerting the creatures living next to them. Jeff heart went to her. He stood up and went to her side. He touches her slightly on the shoulder. She looked up to see it was Jeff. She sat down and cross her legs,Jeff also followed suit holding her hands. They sat down quietly not talking to each other but holding each other hands. He touches her face to swipe away the tears falling from her eyes. She closes her eyes for some minutes. Jeff moved closer and kiss her lips. She opened her eyes sharply, He tries to withdraw from her not wanting to offend her. She drew his face back with her hands and closed her eyes. Jeff kissed her slowly till she began to kiss him back. They were lost in their world when the crack from the door brought them back to reality. Lady Bee entered the room and ask the children to gather. She brought out the mango and the children expressed their joy at seeing a food they could eat. Matthew asked biting the mango wow! Where did you get this? Lady Bee smiled and told them how she saw the tree while looking for an escape route for them. Jeff looked passionately at Rose where she sat eating the fruit. Rose glanced up to see Jeff looking at her. She blushed from the effect and looked away. What is going on between you too Frank whispered into Jeff ears. Nothing. Why did you ask? Frank smiled I think I saw you kissing her the other time. I thought you don’t like her. Remember bro, Jessica is waiting for you at home. Frank winced at Jeff. you know what Frank. Just mind your business! I like her. He smiled same thing you told Jessica. He walked to the other side toward Rose and whisper something into her ears Jeff just told me now that you kissed him. He said you are so naive. Mind him,he has a girlfriend back home. Jeff looked at Frank as he walked away from her. He saw Rose eyes on him but it was a different look. Her eyes were full of anger and regret. Oh my God! What did Frank told her? He thought to himself. A knock was heard at the door and Lady Bee went to open it for her husband. He entered,greet the children and listen as his wife explained about the escape plan. He listened with rapt attention and ask if anybody saw her during the exercise. She confirmed that nobody followed her. I can’t wait to be home! Gabriella exclaimed.

Hello officers. Any news about the children yet. Mr Peter asked the person on the other line. Mr peter had send out a search team for the students. Sir we discover during our findings that the Dark village is of two types and one is full of human and the other creatures that can’t be describe. These creatures are very dangerous and kills human. Mr Peter listened with rapt attention to officer Andrew. We are on our way to the human own and see if we could find them. If we can’t, I will have to ask for more help from other officers so we could go into the other one. We will keep you posted for any latest development. Mr Peter thanked the officer and hang up the call. He has not be able to sleep well for days because of nightmares he keep having about the students and Mr Court. What will he tell the parents. He thought to himself till sleep finally took over him..

Rebecca put down her phones after dialing her daughters number for the fortieth times. She sighed and went to the television to put it off. She heard a breaking news about her daughter’s school on the television on how some students went missing for days. She sat on the floor and began to cry,wailing and calling on God to bring her child back safely. She was still on the floor when she heard the rain pouring down and making loud sound on her roof. She thought of Rose been in the rain with no shelter or care. She resumed her crying.

Honey you need to eat please! I am worried also but we need strength to go through this. Cole sat besides his wife on the dining consoling her and begging her to eat. This is almost a week we saw Jeff . How do you expect me to eat. I am not hungry. Cole touches her on the shoulder it will be okay. Cole phone rang. He put his hands into his pocket and brought out . He talked with the caller for like five minutes before hanging up. Baby I need to get to work. Please do eat. I will buy you some chocolate on my way home. He bent down and kissed pat on her lips. Love you! He hurried out of the house.
