Rebecca walked into the school premises. Her daughter had been gone for three days and nowhere to be found. She entered the school hall. She headed straight to the principal office. She knocked on the door,entered and saw other parents seated and some standing questioning the principal about their children. Mary is my grand daughter! For goodness sake. Your students are nowhere to be found for three days now and you here assuring us nothing is wrong with them. We couldn’t even get to them through their phones. Tell us what to do because I feel this children are in danger. She banged the table as she looked frustrated. Other parents began bearing out their mind and making suggestion on how they could find their children. Mr James tried to calm them down assuring them that they had informed the police and a search team had gone out to look for them. Rebecca stood by the door and listened to all they were saying. She tried to control her anger as she spoke from where she was Mr James,I am not here to negotiate about my daughter or to give suggestion on how to find. I am here to tell you anywhere my daughter is ,you better bring her back before tomorrow or else! It is your responsibility as the head of this school to ensure the safety of the children under your care. One of your staff can’t just take the children away and for the past three days they are no where to be found. Just let my daughter come back to me safe. She is the only one i have. Cole walked up to her to console her we know how you feel,we have been blaming him since ,let us work together and search for this children Rebecca threw his hand away from her shoulder. Please go console your wife and don’t ever tell me you know how I feel. Pat stood up and challenged Rebecca who do you think you are talking to my husband like that? Do you know who we are? Who is this uncultured woman? Rebecca moved closer to her please who are you, so because you are rich and use luxurious car,nobody can talk to you. Wow! I just broke that record. If you don’t know the value of having an only child, I think I do. Please do sit down and keep quiet. Other parents whispers among themselves..Mr James took control of the situation and calm both parents down. They were able to conclude on how to look for their children. After the meeting, Pat and Cole stood up to leave. Cole got to Rebecca side and apologise on behalf on his wife. Pat stood surprised and walked out of the office. Rebecca followed after Cole and apologise for the way she talked to him. He assured her that he stand how she feels and not angry at her outburst. Pat got to the car and waited for her husband. Cole soon joined her why did you have to apologise to her. She was very rude to me. Cole kissed his wife on her lips I don’t blame her,She is her only daughter and all she got. She also apologised to me and ask me to tell you she is sorry. She said she was too worried about her daughter. Pat looked at her husband Honey why are so kind toward this particular lady? Is there something you hiding from me? Is she one of your concubine. Cole looked at her surprised how could you even think that of me! He ignite the car and moved towards their home. Pat spoke after a while i am sorry! Cole ignored her. He got to the house drove in ,parked the car in the garage and went into his room. Pat came out of the car and into the kitchen. Did I say anything bad? Why is he Moody?

Lady bee looked from her window and saw her husband coming. She quickly adjust her clothe and put on a smile. She hope her husband won’t turn them in to the wicked beast. Hello,my beautiful wife! He entered the house and was surprised to see young faces full of fear. He thought to himself, is he really seeing human? After so many years,he could see human then it came to him,these were the human the beast is looking for and what are they doing in his house. Lady Bee can you tell me what is going on here! Lady bee rushed to her husband side stopping him from shouting so as not to attract other villagers. Please calm down! I saw them in the forest. These children are too young to die. When last did you see human in this village. You know how we lost our way into the Dark and how many years it took us to really become one of them. We fought,we struggled and survived. Please let us not hand them over to the beast. We will make plan and try to escape them from this village so they can have their lives back. Lord bee looked at the children faces and he had compassion on them. He raised his hands and give him okay I will not hand them over. Please how do we feed them. We don’t have their kind of food. Lady bee smiled They have eaten. She looked at them and they all nodded. Lord bee went into the room to drop his bag and came out with a bowl of locust. The students watched as he eat. None could talk because of fear. Jeff finally find his voice. Sorry to ask this question. How do you guys get into this place and why did they see you as one of them? Lord bee smiled and explain how they got lost travelling,how they were captured and how the king took them in and gave them the name they are bearing now. They were the king pet. He talked about a particular day when the king ask them to catch flies for him with their tongues. One day the beast came and took over the kingdom and killed the king,married the wife. They escaped the killing and build their mud house that they are living in now. Do you miss the human world? Mary asked. Of course we do! Lady bee smiled then grief was seen on her face But we can’t leave because we don’t fit to the human world anymore. We just want you children to go back to your parents and enjoy your life. They heard a knock by the door. Lady bee quickly tell the children to hide in her room. She opened the door and saw Fear standing by the door. She became scared but found her voice Fear! What brought you to my home. You rarely walk without a message. Fear smiled as he was been praised. The beast ask to deliver a message to all the villagers. Our sacrifice are missing and we all must find them and there is a reward for anybody who find them. Tell this to your husband. He walked away to the next house. Lady bee closed the door and ask the children to come out. Children,there is fire on the mountain,we can’t keep you guys here forever. A prize is placed on your heads. Tomorrow we plan how you will escape.
